Five years is a significant amount of time for any endeavour, but especially in sports.

Today marks five years since my first day at BaseballSoftballUK.

In the last five years, I've worked on world cups and domestic tournaments, met hundreds of volunteers and players worldwide, and worked with some of the most amazing people I've ever met.

Of course, it's not about what I put into the job that really matters; what motivates me, and continues to drive me, is the next person to pick up a ball or bat for the first time, the next search on the team finder for a new team, and the next player to discover their British heritage as they look to represent GBR. As I said on this day last year, and will always say, the work continues.

Things will only get more exciting. From this year's MLB World Tour: London Series, to the 2026 World Baseball Classic, and the journey to the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games well underway, Great Britain is on a sky-high trajectory.

For those of you who have followed along this crazy career I've chosen, thank you. For those of you intrigued by what you've seen, and are looking to get involved, let's talk.

British baseball and softball are alive and well. It's a privilege to play my part in growing this game I love.
