As European Softball Barcelona 2022 gets started, I'm struck by how lucky I am to be involved with another national team programme, and so thankful that I get to do this for work.
Despite the headaches, stress, and long hours, there's no other way to put it - I have the best job in the world.
In a way, I'm even more thankful that I'm just a small part of the efforts here because I get to reflect and enjoy the experience. No matter my role, this is all about the Great Britain Senior Women's National Softball Team and the beginning of an exciting journey to LA28.
I couldn't ask for a better group than this squad, and am so thankful for the opportunity to show the world their talent, their personalities, and their passions. This team has worked exceptionally hard to get here.
It's in their hands - and gloves and bats.
So, I ask is that you support this squad, root hard for the programme, and show the team the same effort that they'll put out on the field. They'll represent Great Britain with everything they've got.
